Kyle Busch may be having the finest Cup Series season with top-10 endings in each of his races, however, the narrative around NASCAR is starting to change and it’s all because of Martin Truex Jr..

The 2017 Cup Series winner’s season started with five top 10s in his first six races, including two runner-up finishes, but he just could not get into the winner’s circle.

That has changed, though, since he’s won back races, including one at Richmond he had been on the edge of winning but simply could never attain.

Since the Cup Series heads to Kansas Speedway this weekend He’s breaking through at the right time. Truex contains two wins in his last four races at the track and loves racing.

He is not the favorite to win this week that would be Busch at 7/2 – but he ought to be viewed as the man to beat. We are picking him to win his third race in a row and then keep Busch out of the winner’s circle for the fourth week.

The Digital Ally 400 can be viewed Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
